Just back from a quick jaunt around West Seattle and the St. Paddy's Day celebrants are starting early. At Celtic Swell the line has started (For goodness sake people, it's not even 5 p.m. yet).

Drivers heading along Alki Ave. should take note: There's a paving project under way that could cause some substantial back-ups. At noon on a Tuesday (when the above picture was snapped from my car) there was little traffic. But on a sunny Friday, beware. It's better to sneak in the back way down Admiral than the front way.
